This new school is located in northwest Mecklenburg county at 7905 Pleasant Grove Road in Charlotte. It is near Highway 16, Mountain Island Lake and Gaston county. It opened in August, 2002.

Hopewell High School located on Beatties Ford Road in Huntersville. The Thirty Four Million Dollar school draws students from North Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson.
